Q: Why do I need VoCoVo?

Q: How many headsets can I have on a system?
A: The number of devices on a single system is 1,000.
Q: What is the range of the system?
A: VoCoVo offers almost unlimited coverage available in almost any environment. From manufacturing plants & retail sites of any size to multi-level department stores and hotels to off-site warehousing. With network coverage VoCoVo can also connect teams instantly even across the globe – great for checking stock availability.
Q: Is VoCoVo the same as a two way radio?
A: No, VoCoVo is very different from two way radios. VoCoVo uses digitally encoded speech which means it is more secure and significantly clearer than normal two way radio. VoCoVo also uses duplex speech which means that two or more people can speak at the same time, similar to having a conversation on the telephone.
Q: My teams already have walkie talkies & telephones – they don’t need more!
A: Juggling multiple communication devices is a major challenge. A single VoCoVo Smartphone can replace multiple walkie talkies & telephones, yet carry out the same roles. It acts as a headset, in conjunction with an earpiece, but also as a smartphone to make and receive voice calls, SMS and email messages. Contact us for more detail.
Q: Do I need CallPoints and KeyPads?
A: No, you may choose an entry level configuration of VoCoVo that is a voice system. This is perfect for independent retailers looking to improve staff communication within their store by replacing noisy loud speaker messages. VoCoVo can really make a difference to the customer experience, improve efficiency on the shop floor and at the checkout. If you wish to upgrade you may add some or all of the additional features (such as CallPoints and KeyPads) at a time to suit you.
Q: If I choose a VoCoVo solution for my group of retail outlets, can I add the Customer Call Points at a later date??
A: Yes VoCoVo is completely modular and scalable which means that any system features and devices can be very simply added to your solution at a time to suit you.
Q: What messages can I have?
A: The number of messages you can have is almost unlimited and each message can be customised to your requirements.
Q: Do I need special wiring or power connections?
A: No, VoCoVo can be connected to a standard electrical socket or an electrical spur. To get the best from the system we recommend that the Controller is positioned in a central location and mounted high up to improve coverage.
Q: Do I need any special licenses because it uses Radio?
A: No, VoCoVo uses a license free radio frequency, which means you do not need permission or pay a license fee to use it. Furthermore because the technology we use is digitally encrypted it is less likely to interfere with other radio frequencies.
Q: How long does the charge on a Headset last?
A: The VoCoVo Headset lasts up to 48 hours from a single charge. If you need it, placing the Headset on charge at break times for as little as 15 minutes will increase the length of time the battery will last.
Q: Can I connect my telephone system to a VoCoVo Solution?
A: Yes, depending on the telephone system you have. VoCoVo offers the option of integrating with your existing PBX system (depending on its specification). Q: Can I have a VoCoVo handset instead of a VoCoVo headset?
A: Yes, VoCoVo offers you the choice of a mix of handsets and headsets. Furthermore, should you choose to integrate with your PBX, you can use the handsets to make external calls!
Q: How long does it take to install VoCoVo?
A: Depending on the size and complexity of the system, VoCoVo can be installed in a few hours with the minimum of fuss.
Q: Do you provide training and support?
A: Yes, we have video tutorials available online showing you how to get the best out of VoCoVo and our technical support team are available online to help with any additional questions.
Q: Can I install the system myself?
A: An entry level VoCoVo solution is designed to be simple, quick and easy to install. If you can put up a shelf, you can install VoCoVo. For larger scale VoCoVo solutions we offer installation services by our team of trained engineers.
