We’re growing up

Back in 2018, we hit a 1029% year-on-year growth, in 2019 Deloitte named us the 34th fastest-growing tech company in the UK and in 2020 we ranked at number five in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100. But we’re more than our statistics. We’re a close-knit team who put each other first. Who care about having a great place to work, where there’s time for coffee and a catchup as well as serious discussion. We want our company to thrive, but we also want to help each other grow professionally and as a team. If you’re ready to change and grow with us, we’d love to meet you.

2 Star Outstanding Organisation

What makes us a ‘Best Companies’ workplace?

A 2 Star accreditation is our second – highest standard of workplace engagement and represents organisations striving for the top. Achieving a 2 Star accreditation takes a BCI score of at least 696.5, made possible only through an ‘outstanding’ commitment to workplace engagement. (BC, 2 Star, 2022)

Personal Growth

95% of staff agreed this job is good for my own personal growth

VoCoVo’s people philosophy is that staff should see the company as somewhere where they will do the best work of their career. To support this, it helps them identify their learning needs and address them. Five of its 42 employees are completing degrees.

My Team

92% of staff agreed people in my team go out of their way to help me

Virtual coffees and water-cooler moments, together with VoCo-Coffee coffee mornings hosted by staff, bingo, quizzes and escape-room experiences have allowed employees from across the company to get together. “No-meeting” times have been introduced to reduce Zoom fatigue.

Giving Something Back

94% of staff agreed my organisation encourages charitable activities

VoCoVo hosts multiple charitable events and makes donations to charities close to its heart. Last year, more than £10,000 went to local causes. The marketing team spent a day volunteering for the Wychwood Project, surveying the woodland for reptiles and creating owl boxes to be placed around the site.

At VoCoVo, our people shape our company. So we’re constantly listening, assessing and adapting how we do things to build an even better place to work. As well as spending time with all our different teams, I take quarterly pulse surveys and check-in with our employee representatives from each department to make sure everyone’s voice is heard, and that we’re continuously making changes for the better.
