Certain questions crop up time and again. In this blog, we’ve decided to answer five of the most common. If you can’t find the information you’re looking for here, you can always check our FAQs page or contact our team directly

How long does it take to set VoCoVo up?

VoCoVo is extremely simple to set up. This is because the system uses your store’s existing cabling and works with a standard power socket.  Installation times vary depending on the size of your store, but the process is usually complete in a matter of hours.

You may also be wondering how long you will have to wait between ordering VoCoVo and having it installed. Again, this varies depending on the scale of the job. Our equipment runs on a three month lead time, but we try to hold enough stock to start a roll-out immediately. This means that you will rarely have to wait more than a few days to get started.

Do you have to carry out a site survey for every installation?

We want your VoCoVo system to be a perfect fit. This is why we always perform a site visit prior to installation. This allows us to work out how many base units you need and where they should be placed. Doing this ensures that there will be no dead spots in your signal and eliminates the need for further visits.

The survey itself is simple and non-intrusive. One of our team will move around the store with a base unit and measure the signal in various locations. There should be no disruption to either you or your customers.

How much does VoCoVo cost?

There is no simple answer to this question. Costs vary depending on the size of your store and the equipment that you need. On average it costs around £5,000 per store to install VoCoVo. This figure is based on a typical set-up of a controller, two base units, 10 headsets and 10 headbands.  Adding a call point is likely to cost around £250, and other extras are available for an additional cost.

Smaller stores may prefer to opt for VoCoVo Go. This is our affordable “Plug and Play” option which provides a cheaper way to enjoy the benefits of VoCoVo. Each Go package comes with a single base unit, a charging rack and between five and 29 headsets.

Do you provide training?

Yes, we do! Customers can access video tutorials which explain every aspect of the system in detail. You can also download quick start guides for every piece of equipment through our customer gateway. If you need further guidance, our support team is happy to help.

Do your products come with a warranty?

With a failure rate of just 3%, we believe that VoCoVo is the most reliable system on the market. Every product comes with a one year manufacturer’s warranty, active as soon as the order leaves our warehouse. There is no need to register your warranty as we do this automatically.

If a product breaks down, simply send it back to us along with your order number, part number, serial number and reason for return. We will examine the item, repair or replace it, and return it to you in five to ten working days.
